Could not find remote control locally for older garage door opener. Googled and found a number of places that carry the remotes. Marwest Access Controls not only carries the exact same model, but has two scaled down versions, a mini and one even smaller that fits on a key chain, that work with our opener. Other sites did not give enough info to determine if any other opener would work other than the humungus original opener. Excellent choices.

Ordered two remote control garage door openers from Marwest a few days apart from each other. Both times they notified me immediately that the item was back ordered, and would be delayed 2-3 weeks. I liked the pictorial layout of the garage door opener, that made it easier to find the part that I needed. the price was cheeper than what I would have paid if I had gone to a garadge door opener store or contractor. shipping was excellant, the part was shipped & received in less than a week.

I ordered one garage door remote control and one keychain remote online. The merchant contacted me to inform me there would be a delay of about 3-5 days due to the keychain being out of stock. I asked him to modify my order with two of the regular remotes. He e-mailed me again to inform me the choice of payment I selected on their dropdown screen of Diners Club was not available. I asked him to cancel the order and I would start again with American Express. Even with the slight delays, to process my order from placement to delivery was less than one week. I appreciate their thorough communication and the items work great. I just dont recommend trying to use Diners Club even though the website provides the option.

Great product and service, but the shipping was high for an item weighing less than a pound. It was 10.00 for UPS 3 day select. I think it probably would have arrived via USPS in an regular letter envelope in 3 days or less for less than a dollar. I needed it though and they provided it so overall I rate them excellant!

I purchased the safety beam sensors for my Genie Intellicode Garage Door Opener. I was very happy to find this site as these parts are not easily available in our area. The product was easy to locate on the site, and the price was better than I expected. I didnt have to wait very long, and am now able to close my garage door without having to get out of the car, stand in the cold, and hold the door closing button until the door is completely shut. What surprised me the most was the amazingly quick order fulfillment -- particularly during the holiday period. Additionally, the order was received several days sooner than expected. I ordered, never received product. I attempted to follow up, with 2 emails and was ignored. I thionk these guys are running a scam.

This is not really a complaint about the merchant as they probably had little control over delivery by UPS. It seemed that delivery was really slow. I placed the order on Christmas Eve, so I realize the holidays slowed everything down a bit. I finally received merchandise on January 5, which was actual delivery date assigned by UPS. As I was tracking merchandise, I noticed that it stayed in one place for at least 3 week days. The item was promptly shipped by merchant and works great. Genie Garage Door Opener Parts performed beyond expectations. However, the shipper UPS misdelivered my package and I had to recover it myself. I should be reimbursed for my shipping charges.

The overall shopping was very good, but once at the web site finding the item was a little tricky.

Things went smoothly, what else would a consumer want?

I needed a new garage door opener and I also wanted a keychain opener. I wasnt sure which model was compatible with my opener and I sent an e-mail that was answered within the hour. I made my purchases late on Thursday afternoon and received my purchase on Friday at 11:30AM. I was delighted with the customer service, products and speed of receipt of merchandise. This vendor is first rate, 5 stars!! I would highly recommend them to any customer for the best in customer service!! They were a delight!

I needed a Intellicode garage door opener switch for my Genie garage door opener. Nobody including Home Depot carries the Intellicode opener switch. So I found the Genie site online and it was the easiest experience for an online purchase Ive ever made. Ive bought literally hundreds of items online and this was the most pleasant experience to date. Their partnership with Yahoo made it easier because Im already signed with Yahoo so they already had all of credit card info and address. I just clicked and I was done. The only bad thing about Genie is the door opener is always breaking and the opener switch goes bad about every 1 1/2 years.

The small key ring garage door opener is costly and ineffective unless you are directly in front of the door. (and i mean directly in front). The old standard type that clips to the sun visor works fine.

It was much easier that I expected to locate the web-site, locate the part I needed, and order it. Everthing went so quickly, easily and smoothly (including fixing the garage door) that I thought something must be wrong!

Even though the replacement parts were not identical to the original sensors, I was easily able to install the new components using the new brackets, but using the existing wiring and they worked the first try. I appreciated the quick turn around on the shipment of the sensors also. My house was hit by lighting and one of the sensors was damaged making it impossible to use the garage door opener until the sensor was replaced. Being able to order the sensors online and having them shipped promptly got me back up and running quickly and with a house full of younger kids wanting to get to their bikes and scooters, this was a big plus.

Did not receive the right part. Called customer service and told me to return part so they can shipp me the right one.

Received my order prompt and in good condition...would order from this merchant again.

Great assistance when making a phone call to clarify due to the age of our opener. Amazed at how quick the product was delivered and the price and shipping were very fair. Shipping and packaging concerns: The total weight of the parts was less that 3 oz and could have been wrapped in a business envelope. The box I received could have contained an unabridged dictionary. That drove the shipping cost up. And one of the parts was loose among all the packing material-- almost thought is was missing. This is wasteful for all parties. Otherwise was excellent.

The one bad thing that happened, was that the universal remote unit I purchased, required a 24 volt transformer, and the transformer did not come included with the unit, nor did the website mention that the trans. was required for the unit to work. I felt it was a little bit of false advertising.

Second, one of the parts that I purchased was obviously used...since it was merely a metal connecting piece I didn't see the point in returning it or pitching a fit about it. Lastly, there was no connecting hardware (bolts, nuts, etc.) in the shipment so I had to run down to Home Depot and buy what I needed in order to finish up what I was doing. All said, I would probably still buy from them because of the price but I was a bit disappointed with SOME of the product. I'm just not sure why someone would put a used item in a box and think that I wouldn't notice it? Anyway...That's my review. Bret.
